Funeral for Belleville Officer Kenneth Santucci
- Jerry McCrea/The Star-Ledger Hundreds of law enforcement officers and firefighters from across the state stand at attention at the funeral mass for Kenneth Santucci at Holy Family Church in Nutley.
I attended the funeral services for Belleville PO Kenneth Santucci along with Officers from all corners of the state and from as far away as Baltimore MD. Although I never knew PO Santucci, I consider it my duty to pay my respects to my Brother Officer. Truly amazing was the number of participants, 150+ Motorcycle Officers, at least a dozen Honor Guards, 100+ State Troopers, just about every Chief from Essex County.
Rest in Peace Brother.
Tragic Death in the Line of Duty
Belleville Police Officer Line of Duty Death
A tragedy for the Belleville Police Department as one Officer was Killed in an accident and another is seriously injured. The accident occurred when another vehicle ran a stop sign, striking the cruiser. My thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Santucci and his family friends and fellow officers. Also to his partner for a fast recovery.
