This is my first attempt at a Blog. I am an officer for a town in the West Essex area.  I got my break into the law enforcement world by writing parking tickets as a part time job.  After a few months, I was offered the midnight dispatcher position.  About half a dozen police tests later, I finally scored high enough to land me into the police academy.
